Ilocos Love - 4x4 Ride & Sand Boarding
Of all the tours we did on this Ilocos trip,
Sand Boarding and the bumpy but exciting ride on the 4x4 is what i love the most.
An exciting ride, i had screamed my lungs out, so much fun
And must i say again, Ilocos is so blessed, the view is perfect. It's like i am in a painting kind of scene, upon looking at this picture, i can still hear the waves, feel the wind in my face playing my hair, the warm embrace of the sun in my skin, wishing i just live nearby to feel it again and again. gosh missing it already.

Ilocos Love - The Bridge, the Cave and on to the Blue Lagoon
The same day but i changed from dress to shorts cause i thought we gonna hike for Kabigan Falls, but due to lack of time, we can't make it (sad face) and also we are so hungry and also because we want to be at Blue Lagoon before sun down. And that means. . . , i need to be back to pay a visit to that falls. haha!
Patapat Viaduct Bridge
Bantay- Abot Cave
Blue Lagoon
Yes, i brought 3 outfits plus the one i am wearing for the whole Pagudpud tour.
(the last outfit is not shown)
I did not regret choosing Blue Lagoon over Kabigan Falls, we enjoy swimming and battling the waves, sorry though, because of the excitement and the starvation maybe, no one wants to take pictures anymore. so i only have a very limited choices on what to post. But i definitely will go back. very very soon, and i am all giddy just thinking about it :)

Ilocos Love - Cape Bojeador Lighthouse & Kapur-purawan Rock
lovely isn't it?
the rocky steps. Be careful
see, how clear the water is?
Cape Bojeador Lighthouse
Cheesy moment with husband
Cape Bojeador Lighthouse is located at Burgos, Ilocos Norte. Do you know that this lighthouse first lit on March of 1892? well, that's what wiki said, but imagine, gosh that was long long time ago, now i wonder is it still operational?, i hope so. Too bad we cannot went all the way up cause it is closed, maybe they are just protecting it from too many tourist.
The Kapur-purawan Rock Formation from the root word puraw or white in english, is also located in Burgos, Ilocos Norte. This time we are lucky because as what Kuya Mark, our driver says, the road going their might be closed, but lucky us, they opened it for a day, and i am all smile, but Kuya Mark is warning me that we have to walk for 20-30 minutes, and with that scorching heat, it can be a challenge to walk or stay outside the van even for just a minute, but because i am game for challenges, and i went all the way to ilocos to see what it has to offer, i went in, but because i am with the super kulit friends of mine, it doesn't seem a challenge at all, the walk became a fun and exciting one. The rock itself cannot be touched or get anywhere near it though, because as what the locals says, some of the irresponsible tourist begin destroying the rock, and they think the rock will never last (sad face), I hope my child will have a chance to still see it someday.
P.S. note to some traveler or tourist, please please please let us not do anything to harm such a beautiful place. Be responsible, for the next generation.

Ilocos Love - Bangui Windmill
dress from Ms. Sarah; tiangge cover-up and few accessories, penshoppe flip flops, shapes sunnies
Bangui, Ilocos Norte, Philippines
Bangui, Ilocos Norte, Philippines
What a lovely day to remember. It makes me so proud that i have born and lived in one of the richest country in terms of beautiful scenery that is, and i am all giddy that this kind of sight is just a few hours away from the hustle and bustle of the city. And must i say, i am born ilocana, and i am a Marcos fan so don't judge me when i say that the Marcoses really did a good job. Okay let's not go political over here, and forgive me if i sound too much of a critic, but really Ilocos Norte is one of the blessed province of the Philippines. And truly, It's More Fun in the Philippines, so, Let's explore . . .

This is what i wore on our way to Laoag.
Yes as simple as this, and this is what i am, simple like that, i think i grew tired of excessorizing or maybe i am just to lazy because it's summer, it's too hot to add additional weight, but i think i am airport ready.
I choose to wear my new sexy white shirt, i felt that i gain a lot of weight lately, and this shirt is my new best friend, its the most comf'table and sexiest shirt, am planing to get another one, in different shade.

Ilocos Love - The Resort in Laoag
We stayed in this "resort/hotel" for 2 nights for only 925 pesos per person per night including the free breakfast, affordable right? Although it is kinda old, it is clean, the room is spacious, the bathroom has a tub and a heater, it also has a pool, a garden, a mini forest, and a lake which i said on my last post my favorite. You can also go fishing for only 75 pesos per person. I must say, it is a hidden paradise at the heart of Laoag City. I know a lot of hotel and resort is far more better than this one, but for a price like that. I surely will stay there if ever i will come back. Oh i forgot to tell you the staff is very kind and very hospitable.
On the other hand, I don't know why i look so thin in these photos, but yes i love how it turned out.
the mini forest and the open-space on the way to our room.
And also, i do not know, how my blog starting to look like a travel blog, now i wonder if i should also post my itinerary, the specific name of the hotel and their contact details or the total expenses for this trip. Do anyone care? oh well. . . let's see on the coming days . . .

In my Dress for Church
I've been to Ilocos last weekend with my friends and with my dear husband. We visited a lot of beautiful places there like Kapurpurwan, Bantay-abot Cave, Blue Lagoon, Marcos Museum, Vigan Heritage, and some more, that i will tell you in a couple of days to go.
And this is where we stay for 2-nights, a resort hotel in Laoag, it has a beautiful old-style house, a mini forest, which is both perfect for photo shoot, i regret not bring my 50mm, an overlooking lake, which i may say my favorite, and the accomodation is wonderful.
Details Soon. . . .
